Presents the very first publicly attended Paranormal investigation to be conducted in Egypt.
Itinerary
Wednesday ~ Wednesday
Day 1:
Upon arrival at Cairo International airport you will be greeted by a representative of Paranormal Egypt, he/she will assist you with acquiring your appropriate Visa stamps and then escorting you to the baggage collection area where you and your fellow Adventurers will have all your bags collected by a member of our team. On exiting the main terminal area, your Paranormal/Spiritual team members will be awaiting your arrival. From there, your private air conditioned mini bus, with on board complimentary chilled refreshments, and seasonal fresh fruit will transfer you and the rest of the group including your luggage to the Pyramids View Hotel , situated in the village of Giza itself, having one of the most spectacular views of the last remaining 7 wonders of the ancient world; “The Great Pyramid” together with its counter parts and of course not forgetting the grand lady herself; “The Sphinx”.
After your assisted check in and your welcome drinks, your rooms await you containing a small but appreciative welcome gift with compliments of Paranormal Egypt.
After a relaxing shower and a change of clothes it will be time to explore the hotel and its grounds, the most important part, being the roof top garden, with its spectacular views of the Giza Plateau
Evening dinner will be served approximately 7pm with introductions by the team members and after which some of them including Chris Conway, one of the UK's famous televised mediums, representatives from Compass Paranormal Events and Egyptologists Dr's John & Maria will all be giving individual talks to the group, preparing them for the Adventures that lay in wait for them over the coming week.
Day 2:
Rising just before Ra has crept over the horizon, the roof top garden offers a splendid tranquil location for the guided meditations by Chris Conway. The group will be inspired and lifted to ascend together with the rising sun finding peace and harmony within oneself. It is hoped that the guided meditations by Chris and offered by Paranormal Egypt will equip the group spiritually and
psychically for upcoming day's events. Afterwards, your breakfast awaits you, a selection of international and traditional menus are on offer together with a splendid spread of seasonal fresh fruits to intoxicate the palate.
After breakfast the group's private air conditioned mini bus and driver will be awaiting you all outside to begin the group's first Egyptian Adventure. Your first port of call is the Giza plateau itself; your group's personal Egyptological guide will take you on a journey of discovery as you explore the plateau together. It is at this point that Paranormal Egypt wishes to point out that your Egyptological guide is not just a robot, spouting historical citations coupled with facts and figures that have been cogitated over by aged scholars who have had their heads buried in books, for most of their academic careers. Instead he has an open mind and will discuss the various conspiracy theories and alternative theories relating to all the Egyptological sites that you will encounter together with him and the rest of the Paranormal Egypt team. His knowledge is that of an open book, so take advantage and turn the pages now and again.
After your historical encounter, Chris Conway will be on hand to guide you in the first of the many workshops that will take place during the coming week. Taking a comfortable seat amongst the dressed stones that lay broken and discarded around you on the floor of the once great and majestic Pyramid temple,
Chris will take you on yet another journey of discovery, but this time you will discover within yourself the gifts of Psychometry. Where better to be able to see and feel the energies of past events take shape than amongst the debris and partial remains of the last 7 th wonder of the ancient world? Who knows, you may even view the illusive techniques involved in the construction of the Great Pyramid and see for yourself, exactly when it was built and by whom.
During the course of the workshop, the group will be escorted on foot across the plateau to the paws of one of the greatest and most discussed stone monuments of ancient man; the Sphinx. The Sphinx holds so many secrets within the clutches of its paws and it has gazed upon thousands of years of mankind's struggle to achieve and evolve. It has witnessed changing religions, fashions, rulers and dictators alike, it has been weathered and interfered by mans egotistical intervention, but it has always emerged from its sandy grave triumphant and majestic and as it should. The Sphinx Valley Temple is the group's next stop: here you witness and view the megalithic blocks of granite that were exported from Aswan, in the deep south of Egypt, to here by means of wind and sail and the pure brute strength of man: it is an accomplishment that rivals that of the Great Pyramid itself. Together with Chris, the group will have plenty of time to test their newly found gift of Psychometry and articulate amongst the group its findings and observations.
There will be ample opportunity for those touristic snap shots and allowance to just stand and gaze in awe. The sleeping prophet prophesized in detail the chamber of secrets that lay between the paws of the great Sphinx herself: for many years there has been countless conspiracy theories relating to the chamber of secrets and its exact location. Many have tried in vain to acquire permission for the Egyptian government to excavate beneath the Sphinx, all unsuccessfully though, still leaving the area untouched. Vast amounts of money have been spent on theorizing and bringing endless TV crews to the Giza plateau to discuss and debate the various theories that relate to the sleeping prophets revelations, but alas as yet to no avail, who knows, maybe the time is right to gaze once more beneath her.
It will be hard to better the events of the morning so far, but first, lunch, and that much needed fuel stop is required. A traditional Egyptian menu will be on offer to the group with all the trimmings and details that Paranormal Egypt delights in preparing for its guests. The rooftop garden of the Pyramids View hotel could not offer a better view and enchanting place to take in ones first lunch in Egypt.
Your private air conditioned mini bus and driver will afterwards transfer the group to the worlds famous Egyptian Museum, located in the heart of downtown Cairo. It gathered even more limelight during the recent revolutionary events taking place within Tahir square and the unfortunate criminal actions that took place within the vaults of the museum itself. But today, most of the artefacts have been re-acquainted with their original locations and the museum doors are open once again. What awaits you beyond those doors is not just a collection of odd artefacts that were discovered in some dusty old tomb by some even dustier old man in tweeds; no, it is the largest most elegant and priceless collection of Ancient Egyptian artefacts on display anywhere in the world. The museum is antiquated in its style and appearance, its layout is methodical and surprisingly enthralling. As you are guided by your personal Egyptological guide in a clockwise direction you will enter each room as if travelling through time. Each room therefore offers an insight into that particular point in Ancient Egypt's historical period, and as you make your way around the museum, you will obviously witness a change in artistry and methods used to capture the essence of the ancient Egyptian religion itself.
The famous collection of Pharaoh Tutankhamun has to be one of the most prized exhibits on display within the confines of the museum. However, it is not the only gold that holds so many secrets: there are many other collections to be seen and gazed upon. Take your time, listen to your guide and then take a walk through time itself, and again, an excellent opportunity to test those newly acquired gifts of Psychometry. All the team members will be on hand to offer advice and answer any questions you may have.
The museum offers a wonderful little cafe located above the museum itself with a light and airy view of the front landscaped gardens of the museum with its outdoor collection of weathered artefacts that have been collected from the four corners of Egypt. It's the perfect place to just take time out and rest a while and enjoy the view while enjoying a refreshing cup of tea or coffee. Many Egyptologists use the cafe to take a break from their research within the museum, look out and you may find an interesting conversation taking place that may spike your interest.
After everyone has finished at the museum, your private air conditioned mini bus and driver will ferry you all across Cairo back to Giza and the Pyramids View hotel . A welcome shower and fresh set of clothing will awaken your spirits in time for your guided sunset meditation with Chris on the beautiful rooftop garden of the hotel, overlooking those majestic edifices that you yourself that very day have glimpsed upon and shared in their inner secrets and history.
Shortly after your uplifting meditation and a refreshing rest, the group will be escorted by foot through the streets of the Giza village to your first paranormal investigation. It is worth remembering that the Giza village has always stood here since the first foundation stone was laid at the corner of the great Pyramid, and that at one time or another people have lived and worked in the area for nigh over 5000 years!
The house that we have chosen for our first paranormal investigation has had the presence of many supernatural and spiritual occurrences throughout its present history, but who is to say what went on before modern history? Awaiting the group and the investigation is if history will unfold before the group's very eyes, if the events of the day will transpire.
But first an evening dinner will be prepared and presented to the group on site, celebrating as people have done for thousands of years on the very spot that the pharaoh himself would have once walked along his processional route; a spot that also would have seen and witnessed the rising rejuvenating waters of the great river Nile as she rose and deposited her black soil upon the land, giving rise to Egypt's other famous name of antiquity: “The Black Lands”.
After your banquet and enthusiastic discussions, the group will be introduced to the Islamic Sheiks that will accompany the group on all paranormal investigations. The sheiks are highly trained and very pious men, having dealt with years of experience in the Islamic world of the supernatural. This will not just be a paranormal investigation in such words, but also an education in cultural differences and most importantly the interpretation of religious ideals and ideologies that are one with the culture. The sheiks are there to help and prevent any harm coming to the group, they will protect, and also act as psychic mediums for the group in combination with Chris and the experienced team members from Compass Paranormal Events, who will also be arranging an array of various guided experiments and investigations for the group to participate in coupled with other tried and tested means to measure and observe paranormal activity. It should prove to be not just entertaining and educational, but in some small way life changing moment as you experience firsthand what it feels like to immerse oneself in such ancient history.
During the course of the evening's investigation, the team members will be on hand to offer advice and knowledge to those who require assistance. There will also be refreshments on hand throughout the evening, and safe areas for group members to relax without interfering within the investigation.
The investigation will continue late into the morning hours and group members may at any time retire and will be escorted back to the comfort of the hotel. For those who stay and see the investigation through to its conclusion, a light refreshing snack and refreshments will be on offer before returning back to the hotel for well earned rest.
Day 3:
For those of the group who do not require a lay in, Chris will be guiding a sunrise meditation aloft on the rooftop garden of the hotel as the Pyramids and Sphinx themselves become illuminated by the rising of Ra on the horizon. Chris will be offering various methods and other external stimuli to perfect one's meditational techniques.
After a refreshing shower, breakfast with its array of freshly prepared delights awaits the group to awaken those who saw the paranormal investigation through to its conclusion and to continue the energizing process for those who were able to participate in the morning's sunrise meditation.
After breakfast the group's private air conditioned mini bus and driver await you all outside to travel, not just by road but through time itself and landscape, as you leave the comfort of familiar surroundings of brick and mortar and enter the desert areas of Saqqara, one of Egypt's oldest inhabited areas of land.
Man has stood upon these grains of sand for well over 6000 years if not more. Saqqara is also home to the world's oldest manmade structure: the step pyramid of Pharaoh Djoser, dating to around 2650 BCE. There are 14 pyramids that are attributed to Saqqara, but most have lost their original geometric design and are hard to distinguish from there apparent rubble mound like appearance. Your personal Egyptological guide will again take the group on a journey through time as he guides you amongst the ruins of this once grand temple complex with its tombs, burials, colonnades and finely dressed stone pillars.
There are many theories and myths, not to mention the abundance of conspiracy theories that are attributed with this site, many of which are seated within the very fabric of our society and its ideologies and legends. There are also many new and interesting scientific breakthroughs and theories associated with Saqqara, and it is worth taking the time to explore some of these myths and legends with your team members while there.
During your time at Saqqara, Chris will be conducting a series of workshops with the group including Aura's, Chakras and an introduction to Remote viewing: all of which are relevant to this unique location and what it have to offer. It is also a great opportunity to try for yourself, again,
the use of Psychometry; see what the ancient pharaohs have to say about today's visitors and those that once walked this great walled temple complex. Saqqara also holds another secret within its walls, and that is its position within the Grid. For those who are familiar with dowsing, Saqqara offers great results for dowsers. Dr John Ward will be on hand for those who are willing to learn or need guidance with this ancient craft. Follow the lines of energy as they penetrate the great walls and doors of this harmonic chamber. Dr John has dowsed Saqqara for many years now with varied results as part of his ongoing research into harmonics and electromagnetic resonance. Saqqara offers a unique experience as the group will observe when looking upon its inner shrines and temples. Can solid matter truly be manipulated through the use of harmonics and electromagnetic resonance? We will find out together.
There will be plenty of time for group members to wander and explore this magnificent site and to enjoy the wondrous achievements of ancient man, not to mention time to conduct your own experiments and investigations with the help and guidance of the team if required.
As usual Paranormal Egypt has lunch pre-arranged for the group in one of the most beautiful settings, located within the palm groves sits a small but relaxing restaurant used primarily by all the archaeologists that visit Saqqara, it is, and will, uplift, and bring a breath of fresh air to those dry and ailing bodies. Lunch is an important part of the overall Adventure, its presents us all with time to just sit and reflect on what we have all observed, it also gives us time to discuss and ask questions of the experienced members of the team, do take time to ask those questions and express your own opinions.
Your private air conditioned mini bus and driver will be waiting to return you all to the Pyramids View hotel , where Chris will guide the group in the remaining hours of the afternoon through his workshops on Aura's, Chakra's and continuing Remote viewing as well. There will be refreshments and light snacks and seasonal fresh fruit available throughout the workshops, and where better to learn about the ancient mysteries and the esoteric than beneath the shadow of the Greatest Pyramid of them all?
As Ra prepares to sail into the Underworld once more, the group, guided by Chris, will once again elevate itself to the harmonics of inner illumination as the moon god Khonsu rises and illuminates the evening sky.
To rejuvenate and take stock, an evening meal will be prepared at the hotel for the group to allow us all to discuss and theorise over the events that have taken place so far within the group's Adventures.
After the evening meal, Chris will continue his workshops and the other team members will be on hand for questions and answers and further discussions.
Day 4:
Listening to one's heartbeat as the last illuminations of Khonsu set and the first rays of the great Aten fall upon one's face can only really be appreciated in person: no amount of writing can really do it any justice in real terms. Guided by Chris and accompanying harmonic resonance, you will become familiar with the insight that mediation brings and the stillness within oneself that can be generated once mastered.
The usual and accustomed array of freshly prepared food awaits the group for their breakfast before departing Cairo and hustle and bustle for the more tranquil and laid back affair of Ancient Thebes that awaits the group.
Your private air conditioned mini bus and driver awaits you outside and after checking out of the Pyramids View hotel the group will be transferred to Cairo International Airport, where your internal flight awaits you (as we will be returning to the Pyramids View hotel, you may if you wish leave any personal belongings etc with the hotel for safe keeping until your return in a couple of days, they will be safe and secure with the hotel staff).
The internal flight to Luxor takes approximately 1 hour and by the time you have taken off and drunk your complimentary cup of coffee no sooner are you landing and taxing on the tarmac of Luxor International airport.
You and the group will be met inside Luxor International airport by one of Paranormal Egypt's representatives who will be on hand to assist you with the collection of your luggage and place you safely in the hands of the rest of the Paranormal Egypt team. Your private air conditioned mini bus with complimentary chilled refreshments and fresh seasonal fruit will transfer you from the airport to the Saharan hotel. The drive from the airport to the Saharan Hotel will take you through glorious green fields and changing landscapes, you will notice the difference between here and Cairo immediately. Luxor has a much more laid back approach to its lifestyle than that of Cairo. Donkeys and carts transporting the daily harvest to the farmsteads and fresh water canals that feed the thirsty agricultural fields of crops and livestock. You will also notice a difference in dress style amongst the men of Luxor: the traditional gallabea, a long loose fitting smock that fits from head to toe come in various colours and fashions, but due to the heat of Luxor is the much preferred dress.
Upon arrival at the Saharan Hotel, check in will be smooth and your complimentary welcome gift awaits you in your rooms with the compliments of Paranormal Egypt.
After a quick refreshing shower possibly and a change of clothing, your private air conditioned mini bus and driver will be waiting for you outside to take you on the next great Adventure. Only a short drive away the River Nile cuts Luxor in two, the West bank and the East bank: currently you are on the West bank and the grand temples of the East bank await you: to visit them, one must first cross this great and mighty river. A short motor boat crossing is the preferred manner to cross the Nile these days.
However, it was not so easy: even 150 years ago when Napoleon and his scientific expedition arrived in Luxor on the West bank, they had no means as to cross the river, and due to this fact and the unfriendly welcome they received from the local tribes on the West bank, they left Luxor and continued to Armant, which is the next town south of Luxor, still on the West bank.
Thankfully for us man invented the petrol motor which makes our crossing that much easier!
Upon arrival on the East bank, your carriage awaits you, we have arranged instead of the usual air conditioned mini bus and driver, a horse drawn carriage and driver to transfer the entire group to the first of the two grand temples of the East. Karnak Temple complex predates most archaeological sites in the world. It is referred to as the world's largest open air museum as it holds so many temples, shrines, priest quarters, sacred lakes, Nilometers and other related ancient Egyptian architecture and structure. It is difficult to actually ascertain what and how its appearance was really like during its heyday. Approaching Karnak across the great courtyard that has been newly installed to its front, one truly comes over with goose bumps just by looking at its great first pylon gates that lay beyond a Sphinx lined avenue. It is hard to imagine that you are actually walking on what was once water as the great river Nile was manipulated and its course redirected to flow directly up to the a grand entrance of the temple complex with ramps and quays to allow the plethora of visitors to the temple complex on a daily basis.
Your personal Egyptological guide will be with you to direct you through the complexity of this sacred site. In fact, walking through Karnak is confusing as you enter through the unfinished pylon and confronted by such spectacle that you forget that the actual central complex has been built back to front with the oldest part at the back and the youngest at the front. However, due to the aging and literal age of the structures one can be forgiven on this matter. Never the less, as you all explore this holiest of places, remember that man first settled in this part of Egypt well over 60,000 years ago as he emerged from the arid marsh lands that is now the Western Saharan desert, and settled on the lush green banks of the river Nile, here in Thebes, “The city of a thousand gates” as remarked by Herodotus.
You have plenty of time to wander and explore, ask as many questions as you like of your team members who are there to help. During your time here and prior to arrival, Chris will have prepared you all to utilise the newly acquire gift of Remote viewing.
Karnak offers so much that Remote viewing and your other newly acquired gifts will come in handy to observe the ancient structures with eyes that most tourists that visit never use.
It would be hard to better the lunch location of Saqqara from the other day; today however, lunch will be served alongside the sacred lake of Karnak itself at the small cafe that sits on its banks. For thousands of years Egyptian priests would have performed their daily ablutions in the sacred lake, descending the stone steps into the cleansing waters that purified not just their physical bodies but also their consciousness and individual Ba & Ka. As the life giving source, water was the heart of every Egyptian ceremony, it gave life and its associated deities were honoured and worshipped daily to continue its existence.
After lunch and those important rest bites of discussion and conversation, your personal Egyptological guide will continue your journey as you make your way over to the Temples of Khonsu and Opet, both retaining a wealth of knowledge and wisdom carved on their interior and exterior walls for an eternity. Again for those who dowse, Khonsu Temple offers an excellent opportunity to experience the lines of energy that join both Karnak and Luxor temples, culminating at the point where the altar stands in the holiest of holies.
As with all the ancient sacred sites that you will visit with Paranormal Egypt we encourage you to not only enjoy and absorb the ancient history that is attributed with these edifices, but also to explore and investigate its other attributes and associations on a deeper spiritual, supernatural and esoteric level. Remember that these sites of worship have had many thousands of years of continued religious and ceremonial practices. These passed events have left their marks not only carved and inscribed upon their stoney walls, but also embedded within them: like a sponge they have soaked up the libations that were once poured over them, the many footsteps of the committed and pious priests performing their daily duties. Unlike the churches and monasteries of Europe these sacred structures have bared witness to the changing religions and beliefs that we take for granted today. So, take advantage and rewind the tapes and play them again. Your team members are on hand to help and offer advice to you on the many applications you can employ and various instruments that are available to prevail yourself of various readings etc during your own mini investigations. But, remember to share the results with the group.
After Karnak, you horse and carriages await you all to transfer the group to its next stop, taking in the city of Luxor en-route with its many sights and sounds that it has to offer. Upon arriving at Luxor Temple, the group will be invited to take a refreshing Pitt stop at the small cafe with its arguably fantastic view of Luxor Temple itself, which makes up for its somewhat rustic charm.
This would be a great opportunity to discuss your results of your own experiments and investigations carried out at Karnak previously, and maybe share ideas and theories as to improve or collaborate on further experiments and investigations. You team members will be on hand to answer any questions you may have and after your refreshing pitt stop, your personal Egyptological guide will be waiting to take you on yet another journey of discovery and enlightenment through the almost intact remains of Luxor Temple that is by far, even though it is smaller offers a greater insight into the daily life of the ancient Egyptian Gods themselves.
The walls of Luxor Temple are adorned with wisdom and sacred knowledge that has been passed down from one generation to another; you will, if you look close enough, find comparable evidence and pictorial clues to some of the biblical references that relate to the Old Testament.
As you enter through the first pylon gate and walk into the first inner courtyard you will see above you the door and windows of the mosque that sits on top of the temple itself. Many tourists are unaware that the entire temple was buried beneath thousands of tons of sand and debris that had accumulated in and around the temple after its demise. Moreover, recent archaeological excavations had discovered the remains of the ancient Christian basilica that lies beneath the mosque today. The Temple of Luxor is a prime example of a sacred site that has had continued religious worship carried out and performed within its ground throughout the ages, regardless of the change in religious belief and dogma.
Today the mosque sits there as a reminder than mankind continues to evolve and strives to find an answer to the ultimate question of mortality, and in fairness, the ancient Egyptians in some manner have achieved immortality as this temple stands as testament to.
As Ra begins his battle with Apophis and takes his Solar barque into the Underworld the group will be encouraged to hold hands in a circle and participate in a group meditation guided by Chris in the centre of the Holy Sun court of Pharaoh Tutankhamun, and as Khonsu begins his journey through the night sky, Luxor Temple is given new life with its modern illumination. As with the ancient priests who walked the same pathway as you have: through the grand gated pylon, through the inner courtyard and then through the darkened colonnade only to emerge as you did into the sun court, and in an act of light over darkness they too emerged like you in an illuminated state of consciousness.
After finishing your journey both spiritual and historical through Luxor Temple, it is time once again to cross the mighty Nile this time guided by the illumination of Khonsu as he rises and travels the cosmos. Upon safe arrival on the West bank your private air conditioned mini bus and driver will be waiting to transfer you back to the Saharan hotel.
The Saharan hotel offers beautifully appointed rooms with all modern connivances and one of the most peaceful and serene views across the Western
Desert and the Theban Mountains home to world famous Valley of the Kings and Queens, and not to mention in excess of yet another 500 tombs with even more still buried beneath the thousands of years of debris and sand. One of the other highlights of the view from the Saharan hotel is unspoilt view upon the great Temple of Medinat Habu, palace and once home to Pharaoh Ramesses III amongst other pharaohs who once walked its courtyards and paved areas.
Upon arrival at the hotel you will have plenty of time to unpack and take in a few relaxing moments before its time for your evening dinner prepared in style as Paranormal Egypt can only deliver. Your team will escort you by foot to the edge of the western Saharan desert where your tent and traditional Egyptian musicians await to entertain you, but not just by the delights of the drum and chord, but also with traditional belly dancing performed by professional authentic Egyptian belly dancers. There will also be traditional stick dancers as they re-enact the courageous and ceremonial stick fights to the beat of the drum, accompanied by the famous Egyptian dancing horse as they too tip toe and rise to the beat and rhythmic sounds of the musicians entertaining you all throughout the evening in this most ancient of places. At the end of the evening your team will escort you back to the hotel for a well earned rest.
Day 5:
By now your spirit will yearn for the morning as it craves the rhythmic embrace of the harmonic tones to which you meditate to when Ra once again emerges triumphant from his journey through the Underworld. Guided as usual by Chris your morning sunrise meditation will equip you for the day ahead of you. Afterwards the Saharan kitchens will have prepared a breakfast fit for a pharaoh with seasonal fresh fruit in abundance and a choice of international and local menus.
Your private air conditioned mini bus and driver will be waiting for you after your breakfast to begin your Adventures in the ancient Necropolis of Thebes. Your first port of call will be the famous Valley of the Kings
here your personal Egyptological guide will take you on a journey through the Underworld as you descend beneath the earth and enter the realms of eternity. The tombs of the Valley of the Kings operate on a rotational basis, so you're personal Egyptological guide will know which ones to explore without the hustle and bustle of the other tourists. Remember, this is a place of rest, it is in effect a graveyard: respect it at all times, remain vigilant and aware of your spiritual and psychic sense. It is, of course, a prime opportunity to test some of your newly acquired gifts and Chris will be on hand to help and offer advice as will the rest of the team. Also, do not forget that it is not just the ancients who have been buried and who lost their lives here: remember those who became so famous with their new discoveries, with the likes of Howard Carter and Lord Carnarvon and the rest of the teams who lost their lives under mysterious circumstances, you never know who you may meet in the corridors of the Underworld.
After finishing at Valley of the Kings it's off to the rock cut Temple of Hatshepsut, it is worth remembering at this point that your private air conditioned mini bus comes equipped with a fresh supply of seasonal fresh fruit and chilled refreshments, the arid landscape and dryness of the Egyptian sun can take its toll, always carry water with you and always keep yourself hydrated at all times.
The Temple of Hatshepsut is as breathtaking upon approaching it as it is standing on one of its three terraces. It is by far a magnificent feet of engineering and architecture. Its highly polished lime stone construction also illuminates it even during the day. Your personal Egyptological guide will walk you through the many colourful scenes and reliefs that adorn the walls of the is temple with its painted scenes from the discovery of the land of Punt and the various ships and sailors that sailed the high seas in search of exotic goods, animals and spices for their female pharaoh, Hatshepsut. You will notice from her statues that she went as far as to adorn her images with masculine features, such as a beard so that she may be accepted as a female ruler with a male persona. The colourful painted scenes and relief will have you captivated on each and every terrace as well as the small shrine to Hathor where one can observe the child Hatshepsut suckling from the Mother Goddess. Surrounding the Temple of Hatshepsut the mountains are interspersed by various tombs and shafts. There is even a legend that talks of a secret tunnel that connects the Valley of the Kings with the Temple of Hatshepsut; unfortuanlty as yet no such tunnel system has been located, but it adds to the plethora of conspiracy theories that have swept across this glorious ancient land.
There will be plenty of time for you to carry out any of your own experiments and investigations with Chris and the paranormal team on hand to help and offer advice along the way. Your private air conditioned mini bus will be waiting for you after everyone has finished their exploration of this majestic palace. Lunch awaits the group served in traditional style on the roof top of the Saharan hotel overlooking those Theban Mountains that still to this day contain so many secrets.
Drs John & Maria who live on the West bank of Luxor have for many years carried out their research into ancient symbolism in Egypt have conducted countless expeditions into the Theban Mountains.
They document the ancient pathways of the priests and the trade routes that carried the spices from one nome to the other, but more importantly carried the ancient knowledge across not just the Theban Mountains but across northern Africa, Europe and beyond. If only those stones could talk what stories they would tell. As for recording the various inscriptions and symbolism left behind they too are stepping in the very footsteps that Howard Carter himself once trod before his amazing and famous discovery of the tomb of Pharaoh Tutankhamun. Both will be on hand to answer any questions and partake in any debate or discussions with the group and its members.
After lunch Chris will be guiding the group through Tarot cards and their interpretations. This particular workshop will be interrupted towards the end of the afternoon by a short stroll along the desert edge to the main entrance of the grand Temple of Medinat Habu where your personal Egyptological guide will be waiting to take you on an exploration, which will undoubtedly awaken certain areas of your psychic awareness. The temple itself is one of the most preserved temples in Egypt. However, it is not what it seems: its true name is House of Millions of Years, and this, of course, refers to its preservation and existence throughout time and hopefully eternity. It was named so, due to the fact that the soul, the Ka, could return at any given time to this great palace and reside within the familiarity and safety of its walls.
If it was not for the early Christians the temple would have fallen into disrepair and probably been plundered for its stone and other reclamation. The Early Christians taking refuge from the Romans lived within the walls of Habu, coating its colourful painted reliefs with a lime white wash preserving for eternity the coloured relief beneath. The Christians, however, were not so lucky: eternity within its walls was not to be. Instead, they were driven from their newly acquired home by the ravishes of the plague, decimating their numbers in the process. They fled, leaving behind an entire walled city, complete with churches and sacred shrines. You will be able to view their new homestead, which they made for themselves during their flight in the 8 th century AD.: Malkata is now home to a select few and acts more as a monastery these days, and can be seen from the rooftop of the Saharan hotel.
The mud brick houses and churches, however, were not to survive for eternity, the American archaeological team in the early part of the 20 th century prior to the outbreak of WW II, removed all the Christian structures within the walls of Habu, removing anything that was not ancient Egyptian. In the process of the conservation project they did remove the lime wash that had been applied to the inner and outer walls for nearly a thousand years, only to reveal the immaculate and colourful scenes of everyday life of the ancient Egyptians beneath.
Laying deep beneath the floors of the temple lay an intricate interwoven maze of tunnels that carry water from one part of the temple complex to another, you will discover that there are 4 different Nilometers located within the grounds of the temple and that these show records of how high the Nile flood came each year. As the water table rose, the priests would make a permanent record by incising the stone walls that lined the steps that descended into the waters below
There is a local myth that articulates that if a woman who is having difficulty in conceiving a child, then she should partake and bathe within the sacred waters of Habu as these have a natural healing property, which will allow the woman to conceive.
You will see for yourself whether the green stagnate waters are healing or not. Having said that though, research carried out by Dr John has produced evidence that one of the many Nilometers actually contains clean fresh drinkable water, so clean that he actually performed a baptism on his own infant daughter some years ago.
You will have plenty of time, an eternity, to explore the grounds and temples that lay within these high mud brick walls. Remember that Chris and the rest of the paranormal team will be on hand to guide you and help you with any investigation and experimentation you wish to carry out.
As the sun hangs over the Theban Mountains it will be time to take a short stroll to the back of the temple grounds and together with the guidance of Chris the group will once more join in oneness as Ra takes his Solar boat under the protection Sobek as he lays on the Eastern side of the mountain of Bakhu. The group will immerse themselves and prepare spiritually and psychically for the events that will unfold during the nights impending paranormal investigations.
There will be time to return to the Saharan hotel for a quick change and equipment check before your private air conditioned mini bus and driver will transport you to the village of Rosga, where the infamous traditional mud brick house awaits your arrival. Upon arriving, an evening dinner will have been prepared you. Accompanied by the ever watchful eyes of the Sheiks and the rest of the paranormal team, the dinner conversation will surely be heightened by the anticipation and flurry of stories which pertain to this particular location.
The house in question has been subject to many supernatural events over the years by various generations of the same family that have tried in vain to live within its walls. The most bizarre occurrence was the blue flames of fire that emanated from within its walls, bearing in mind that mud brick is mud, it cannot burn.
As with the other investigations the team will be on hand to help and offer advice at all times. Refreshments and light snack will be available throughout the night and so will the protection of the sheiks and guidance offered by the paranormal team and Chris, our accompanying medium. Compass Paranormal Events will be on hand guiding the group through a series of tried and tested investigations and scientific experiments which are hoped will capture evidence of paranormal activity within the house. At the end of the evening your private air conditioned mini bus and driver will be waiting to take you back to the Saharan hotel where if required light snacks and refreshments will be on offer before taking a well earned rest for the remainder of the morning.
Day 6:
The rooftop of the Saharan hotel awaits those who can muster the energy to join Chris for a guided meditation as the rays of Ra descend upon the face of the Theban Mountains changing its khaki appearance to that of pink hues and yellows. Allowing one's heart to beat in rhythm with the rising of the sun allows one to be embraced by its warmth and illumination in preparedness for the day's events to come. Afterwards the kitchens of the Saharan hotel will have prepared a feast of delight to fill those empty tanks and giving you the energy to enjoy the day ahead.
Your air conditioned mini bus and driver will be waiting for you outside the hotel for the long drive to one of Egypt's most famous temples and destinations for the dead in anticipation of resurrection; Abydos.
The Temple of Abydos lies approximately 3 hours north of Luxor, it can only be appreciated by actually standing within its chambers.
It has been written about for centuries, visited by countless historians for thousands of years; it was visited by Herodotus and Manetho to name but a few. Its king list, which adorns one of the walls in the corridors of the main temple itself, shows and gives us the names of pharaohs that once ruled this land.
Abydos is also famous for its hieroglyphs that resemble modern transportation such as the helicopter, tank and even a submarine; you can judge for yourselves as you personal Egyptological guide will escort you through the many chambers and anti chambers that make up this magnificent temple.
Be sure to look for the famous flower of life that has made Abydos famous amongst spiritualists and conspiracy theorists for generations. The Osirion which remains half buried beneath the ground and is now home to thriving community of cat fish living amongst its murky waters, the architecture and megalithic block work will remind you of the Valley Temple which you visited at Giza, but at the same time, you will feel like years ago now. There are many early Christian symbols and graffiti that adorn the walls of this once popular temple, even the Christians believed that it was sacred and that Osiris who was resurrected was connected in some way with Jesus and his own resurrection.
The other infamy of Abydos was its connection to Om Seti, who as a 20 th century Child suffered a near death experience but survived only to fully remember her past life as the mother of Pharaoh Seti. She spent her entire adult life at Abydos, dedicating her hours to studying the hieroglyphs that adorn the temple walls, entertaining visitors with her elaborate stories of her past life and how she would roam the chambers in her ancient Egyptian life. You will have plenty of time to explore the temple and its grounds; the team will be on hand to guide and offer advice to you throughout your visit.
Chris will be on hand to offer help and guidance with your newly acquired gifts, and who knows, you may even come face to face with Om Seti herself, she has been said to still roam the halls.
Many spiritual people come to Abydos to stay and meditate in the presence of the great Osirion, take time to benefit from this sacred location, it has more to offer than what can be seen with the physical eye.
After a short refreshment break, your private air conditioned mini bus and driver will be waiting to take you to the next site, turning around and heading back to Luxor. En-route lies the next famous temple in southern Egypt: Dendera. Remember that the mini bus comes with complimentary fresh seasonal fruit and assortment of chilled drinks for you to enjoy, hydration is paramount in Egypt.
If you ever wondered what an ancient Egyptian place of healing may look like, well Dendera is it. It has stood for thousands of years: during its latest prominence in the Ptolemaic period it became a temple of learning and wisdom. Hathor the mother goddess resides within its walls healing those that came to her freely. Your personal Egyptological guide will show you the various aspects of the temple grounds that have been excavated over the years that now provide an insight into the everyday workings of the temple complex. The River Nile came almost up to its walls, which will amaze you with its size and magnitude. When gazing upon the perimeter enclosure wall, remember that it is built entirely of individual sun baked mud bricks, each one hand made, each one laid physically by hand. It is an awesome sight and the sheer manpower that went into just the building of the wall is beyond our comprehension.
However, before you become too immersed within the intoxicating imagery of the temple, lunch awaits you and as Paranormal Egypt's reputation for exotic lunch locations this has to be one of the top ten. Located to the East of the temple lays the sacred lake similar to that which you gazed upon at Karnak Temple in Luxor; however this one is a little special as it no longer has any water. In fact it never really did, unlike other sacred lakes in temple enclosures, which are fed by natural water sources emanating from the ground beneath. This one was filled by means of a series of canals and finally a man made aqueduct system that flowed beneath the grounds of the temple itself. The steps that descend to the bottom of the sacred lake offer an ideal location for lunch, immersed in the residue energies of the priests that carried out their daily ablutions and cleansing in the sacred waters still fills the now empty stone lined lake. The steps worn by the thousands of feet that have trod the very same treads that you are now using to descend will empower you and using the gifts that Chris has worked with you on during the course of the week you too will feel like an ancient Egyptian priest, only instead of getting your feet wet, you will be partaking in an veritable feast fit for any high priest of the Hathor cult.
After lunch your personal Egyptological guide will continue your journey through the Temple of Dendera, while Chris and the rest of the team will be on hand to help and offer advice on all aspects of your own personal paranormal and spiritual experiments and investigations.
Chris will also be indulging in personal one to one tarot readings within the famous astrological chamber located on the roof top of Dendera temple. The astrological scenes that date from the Ptolemaic period show that our own astrological observation and interpretations have not changed much. The chamber that is dedicated to the resurrection of Osiris is located next to the astrological chamber and is also energetically filled. The other areas of the temple that offer unique experience are the whispering corridors that line the inner walls of the temple. It is here that the priests would hide from the visitors and as the visitor asked for guidance and healing and offered prayers to the gods within the chambers so then the priests would whisper and chant. The visitor, of course, would believe that they were actually hearing the words of Gods and the chants or harmonic melodies of the cosmos where the gods dwelt.
You will have a chance to experience the crypts and whispering corridors for yourselves and conduct you own investigations within them. Remember to look out for the famous light bulb that Erik Von Daniken published within his controversial book “Chariots of the Gods', the relief scene can be found deep and hidden from view in one of the crypts. Its takes a brave person to crawl through the tight spaces to enter the crypt corridors, but the beauty of the relief and execution of the relief itself is more than worth the struggle and heightened heart beat.
During this time Drs John & Maria with members of the group will also being carrying out various experiments and investigations which pertain to their research into ancient symbolism. The symbols that have been carved into the stone blocks at Dendera contain certain qualities within them, and who better than a paranormal investigative team to explore those qualities: Welcome to the world of Esoteric Gnosis.
It is hoped that time will allow us to join in unison and meditate in front of the great western gate as Ra takes his solar boat once again into the perilous Underworld to fight the demons that dwell within it. And as the last rays shine upon the earthly plain the group will become as one, unified and guided by Chris within this most sacred of places.
After your meditation you air conditioned mini bus and driver will be waiting to transfer you back to Luxor, only a hour's drive, which will give you time to reflect and discuss amongst yourselves and the rest of the team your experiences and results of your own investigations and experiments during the course of the day at two of Egypt's renowned temples.
The Saharan hotel kitchen will have a prepared you an evening dinner which will await you after a refreshing shower and change of clothes to remove the dust and sand that you will have picked during your days Adventures.
Chris and the rest of the team will be on hand during the evening meal and afterwards for any questions and if time permits and energies allow, then maybe a few experiments with the human pendulum where the group can show off its heightened spiritual attainments.
Day 7:
As Ra emerges triumphantly after successfully fighting the demons of the Underworld you too will become immersed in his radiance as you join Chris on the roof top for your final mediation overlooking the Theban Mountains as Ra illuminates the rock face once more. The Saharan kitchens will have prepared your last breakfast with them with the same amount of attention to detail as they did on the first day of your arrival. It is time to bid farewell to the ancient land of Thebes as your private air conditioned mini bus and driver await your check out to transfer you to Luxor's International airport, where your internal flight to Cairo will be leaving from. Your team will be on hand to make the check in and flight stress free. Again the flight is only one hour and before you know it you will be greeted by a familiar face at Cairo's International airport to assist you with your baggage and escort you to your familiar private air conditioned mini bus and driver that will be waiting to transfer you to your first Adventure of the day.
Just writing City of the Dead inspires and conjures images of grotesque proportions, what it does not do is prepare you for the location that awaits the group. The City of the Dead is exactly what it says it is, a city of dead, a vast area filled with mausoleums that double as habitation for the families that have buried their loved ones within them.
It is a most macabre location; really nothing can prepare you for it. However, Paranormal Egypt has arranged for the group to not only investigate the area but also to partake in a spot of lunch within one of the macabre mausoleums. Accompanied by our friendly and protective sheiks a traditional Egyptian meal will be on offer followed by a series of investigations and experiments under the watchful eyes of both the sheiks ad our own psychic medium Chris. Thousands upon thousands have been buried in the city: the exact figure is actually unknown as burials were not recorded previously. This is a unique experience as it will take place during day light hours, like most paranormal investigations that take place during the evening hours; we hope that the location will provide a most unique set of results for the group.
During the course of the investigation the team will be on hand to guide and offer assistance as and when required, with refreshments and light snacks available throughout the day.
After concluding the investigation your private air conditioned mini bus and driver will be waiting to transfer you to even more familiar surroundings, the Pyramids View hotel, a welcome sight after such an experience.
The friendly staff will be on hand to help with any requests. Your rooms will greet you with your complimentary arrival gift compliments of Paranormal Egypt. After a short interval, Chris and the rest of the team will escort you by foot through the village of Giza to your own horse drawn carriages which await you to take you to the depths of the desert overlooking the Great pyramids
Here your own personal Bedouin tent will be waiting complete with cushion lined floor and lighted fire ready for Chris to guide you in your last sunset mediation, and what a location to conduct your last sunset session. As Ra takes to his Solar barque once more you bid him farewell as he disappears beneath and takes charge of the demon infested Underworld, while you and the group become one with Khonsu as he rises behind you illuminating the sacred sites of Egypt once again .
Memories will flood back to you of the sites you have visited and you will undoubtedly revisit them again in countless dream states and meditations in the future. After your meditation traditional dance and entertainment will be given to celebrate your final sunset meditation.
Yet more awaits you as your carriages take you back to the hotel where your private air conditioned mini bus and driver will be waiting to take the group to Khan el Khalili, the famous and oldest of souks in Egypt: a thoroughfare of small winding streets and allies that interconnect with each other having various sized doorways - some leading to no bigger than a broom cupboard, but filled to the brim with shining objects of desire, and yet others huge portals that just seem to go on and on, forever filled with exotic spices and smells and tastes to tantalise and excite the emotions.
Khan el Khalili has for generations been a trading place, an area where East meets West. Here we will enjoy our last evening together, a grand farewell dinner has been planned and afterwards a gentle stroll through the allies and streets.
Afterwards your private air conditioned mini bus and driver will be waiting to take the group back to the Pyramids View hotel where the farewell party continues on the rooftop garden complete with Traditional music and refreshments. The night will be filled with music and joy.
Day 8:
Your final sun rise meditation with Chris guiding you all the way, as Ra emerges again to the tune of your heartbeat, his rays of luminance touch gently upon your face as you are carried back upon the barque shrine itself. You find yourself gazing upon the colourful painted relief scenes of the solar barque in Medinat Habu, a life time ago. Rejoining the physical realm, the already familiar smells will be emanating from the Pyramids view kitchens as it prepares the group's last breakfast.
After breakfast, there is plenty of time to reminisce, and discuss and go over the past events and experiences. The team will also be available for any last minute shopping that is required, but most importantly is the relaxing time that you have left before your private air conditioned mini bus ferries the group for the last time to Cairo International airport where Paranormal Egypt representatives will be on hand to assist you with your check ins and baggage, it is time for us to bid you all farewell, and safe journeys.
