So you can't make it onto one of our Safari holidays but you still want to experience
the Red Sea the way the dolphins do?
From our Dive Centres based in Hurghada we can show you a whole new world.
Introduction Dives/Snorkelling
If you have never dived before we can take you hand in hand to experience the Red Sea. The experience
may be enough for you to choose to make a diving course whilst you are here which can easily fit into a
week's holiday.
We make snorkeling and Introduction Dive trips everyday for either the full day or half day.
Dolphin Dives
Twice a week we go to either Dolphin Bay (El Fanous) or Dolphin House (El Erg) we know the dolphins
which are resident in these areas and how playful they can be. Diving with them when they want to play is
one of the best experiences you can have underwater. We can explain to you how to behave when you see
them to get the best experience possible for you and for the dolphins.
Qualified Divers
We offer Half Day and Full Day Diving from our Hotels and from a private Marina in Hurghada.
3 day, 5 day and 10 day diving packages are available.
If you are trapped by the airlines ever shrinking luggage allowances we have new equipment here which
can be hired. Full equipment hire costs 100 Euros per week or individual items can be hired if your Regs
are too heavy.
Night Dives
We try to make at least one night dive a week. Not all Dive Centres can offer this but we have a safari
licence and so are able to give you the chance to see the underwater stars and dive by moonlight. So bring
your torch with you.
Wreck Dives
There are several wrecks around the central and Northern Hurghada area. For those wanting to go further
afield we can arrange trips to Thistlegorm but it's very weather dependant. We will normally fit in at least one
wreck dive each week. There is the Susannah (max 20m) and El Mina (max 30m) which offer a great
introduction to wreck diving with so many fish and corals taking over the sites.
Deep Dives
The Giftun Drift is one of the most famous dive sites in the Red Sea and with good reason. The Marine Park
is stunning and whale sharks have been seen here at 35m - fabulous! There are several other deep sites
close by for those with the appropriate qualifications. If you haven't got the qualification then you can make
an Adventure Dive or make your Deep Diver Course.
NITROX
Always available and always a good idea particularly for those making several days diving. 9, 12 and 15
Litre tanks available.
Technical Diving
We know some of you love it deep, deep down - well we do too. If you want to make Technical Dives let us
know we have the technology.
Shark Spotting
We run overnight trips to Elphinstone for those who want a great chance to dive with sharks. This is a
challenging deep site so ideally you will have AOWD and Deep Diver speciality qualifications as a minimum
and 50 Logged Dives. If you have less than this and still want to go you will need a private dive guide. Its an
amazing site famous for the hammerheads who are often seen early in the morning, often around 25- 35m.
White Tips and Fox sharks are also often seen in this area.
